Used as a spice in many parts of the world, cardamom has a sweet, eucalyptus aroma, and a strong, camphor-like taste. It is one of the most pungent of spices, and should be used in small quantities. The whole pod, opened to release the tiny black seeds inside for fresh grinding, offers the most intense, spicy-sweet, and completely unique flavour.
Our Cardamom comes directly from the rich fertile mountain regions of Northern India and is sourced from hill tribe traditional farmers. These traditional farmers practice only organic, sustainable farming methods.
